Planning granted and construction underway for a mixed-use redevelopment in Acton Town Centre.

This project involves the careful regeneration of two vacant, fire-damaged properties within the Acton Town Centre Conservation Area. The approved scheme delivers five high-quality residential apartments above a flexible commercial unit spanning ground and basement levels.

Set within a prominent High Street location, the design sensitively reinterprets the scale and materiality of neighbouring buildings. A new mansard roof, set back behind a parapet and clad in standing seam zinc, adds a discreet additional storey without overwhelming the street frontage. London stock brickwork, soldier coursing, and proportioned openings contribute to a robust and contextually responsive façade.

As AI tools evolve, we believe it is essential for architects to critically assess their role, testing where they can add value, enhance communication, and complement established workflows.
