Resolution to grant planning permission for a mixed-use redevelopment in the heart of Peckham.

Located within the Peckham High Street Conservation Area, this project brings forward the sensitive regeneration of a prominent High Street site through the replacement of two underused and deteriorating buildings.

The approved scheme provides seven new homes above flexible commercial space at ground and basement levels. Designed to balance civic presence and contextual sensitivity, the new building features a carefully composed brick façade that references the rhythm, scale, and character of the surrounding streetscape. High-quality detailing, robust materials, and subtle articulation contribute to an improved public realm and enhanced street activation.

Internally, the residential units are efficiently planned to meet space standards, with dual-aspect layouts and generous levels of daylight. Sustainability has been embedded throughout, with low-energy strategies and a fabric-first approach guiding the technical design.

The development supports the ongoing vibrancy of Peckham High Street by delivering much-needed housing and contemporary commercial space in a highly accessible, well-connected location.
